  Needed some good late (after 10) and this place was open. We were impressed. If you are looking for a pizza, sub place - this was delicious. We are from out of state and wanted something local. Turns out Spiedie style is local only to spots in New York. Obviously we had to try a chicken spiedie slice and he grilled chicken spiedie sub. Also the homemade red sauce for breadsticks was yum!

  We ordered a steak and cheese sub tonight, delivered, for my father-in-law. The employee who took the order was consistently rude while I remained kind. At the end of the order he tried to hang up the phone, knowing he hadn't asked how I wanted to pay. In this way I would have to try to get him to not hang up so I could give him my credit card information. He was a manipulator. He then said the order would arrive in 45 minutes, which we both knew was a lie, another odd manipulation, as it was 15 minutes prior to closing.
  
  The order arrived within 15 minutes. I generously tipped the delivery man. It wasn't until later that I realized he might've been the same person who took the order, as he had made a strange comment to me at my hotel room door. My family is concerned about these people and them having my credit card information, and being at my hotel room. There is something going on with the employees there; I don't know if it's alcohol or drugs or what, but I was definitely dealing with sick people.
  
  Then the food: The sub was had very little filling and was intentionally made with sweet pickles rather than the type that every sub shop knows should be used.
  
  This was all a slap in the face to me and for no reason other than again, there are some Dick people here. Stay away from this place.

  The pizza was ok, we ordered 2 large pies and 3 orders of buffalo, mild, and bbq wings. The wings were a good size, and the buffalo and mild flavors were also good. The pizza was cut into squares and I think that was my favorite part of the pizza. We ordered takeout and I'm just visiting Horseheads so I won't be returning and I wouldn't know what the restaurant is like.

  I saw that this Pudgies was voted the best fish fry and now I know why. it was amazing !! Enough for two people. Great food.

  This is the best pizza in the world, period. I grew up in Horseheads and have not found pizza like this anywhere else. The crust and the sauce have unique flavors that are amazing. I come back home and Pudgie's is the first place I visit for food every time.
  Pizza w mushrooms. Do it.
